I put together this boilerplate to let me run through the exercises more easily with a simple CLI command.
For years my portfolio site ran on the Drupal CMS. Periodically I would upgrade to address some important security fix, and inevitably a major upgrade would come along causing untold headaches with the fragile ecosystem of modules that ceased to operate correctly. Enter static site generators and Metalsmith in particular.
Working on the web front end may leave you reeling with the panoply of available technologies. The truth is there are many great frameworks out there and it's an incredibly exciting time to be working with the web. Choice is a good thing. Here's my selection.
I often find myself testing purchase flows at Verizon Wireless which involves a lot of repetitive clicking to get to a given page, for example adding an item to the cart, configuring your plan and entering credit card details to checkout. Chrome extensions to the rescue!

Summary: Windows Live Messenger game based on the Coke Beijing Olympics 'Design the world a Coke' campaign. Extensive use of Papervision to translate users’ input into bottle designs.

Summary: Flash based video editing tool helped users create, edit and upload 30 second adverts for Dove Cream Oil.
Project: Nokia New Year's Eve
Summary: Nokia New Years Eve was an all flash web site that allowed users to access interact with Windows Live / Bing satellite maps to upload and share photos of their New Years Eve experience and associate that content with some geolocation.
